1,000 people expected at Guilderland paramedic’s funeral

The family of Guilderland paramedic Richard Beebe said they have changed the venue for Beebe’s memorial service because such a large crowd is expected to attend.

Services for Beebe, who died from complications after a motorcycle accident, have been moved to Guilderland Central High School, 8 School Road, Guilderland Center, NY. The service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 11. More than 1,000 people are expected to attend. A reception will follow at Western Turnpike Rescue Squad., 200 Centre Dr., Guilderland.

Beebe was a paramedic in Guilderland for 30 years and was a nationally-known EMS educator: Richard Beebe, paramedic who taught others, dies in crash.
